HOW TO FIX NO CONNECTION – RETRY ERROR IN GOOGLE PLAY STORE

I’ve seen this problem brought up many times in many places and actually decided finally to fix the no-connection, Retry issue in the Google Play Store.
After installing Freedom App, you may encounter the “No Connection”, Retry error when opening the Google Play store when you’re internet connection is otherwise working fine (Your browser works etc). The most often suggested fixes are to:
1. Force stop Google Play Store from settings and clear cache + clear data then restart.
2. Set your time zone correctly. (Especially since USA users need to change time zone to make Freedom work)
3. Reset your device to factory and re-root (Way overkill and I’ve never seen a case which made this necessary).
or
change the date back to +4 GMT and open freedom, then click menu and close freedom manually. Then uninstall it, change the time back to normal and try again  tofix play store error connection
or
If you’ve recently installed Freedom and fixing your time zone and rebooting doesn’t fix the Play Store then there’s still a simple fix left to do.
1. You’ll need Root Explorer
2. Set the file system to Mount r/w then navigate from the Root to System/etc.
3. Locate the hosts” file (no extension) and make a backup of the file, now modify the file

mounttext editoripaddress
4. Open the hosts file in Text Editor
5. Insert # into the 2nd IP address , so it will look like this

#127.47.231.138 android.clients.google.com mtalk.google.com

6. Save and reboot your phone.
7.That’s it! After restarting, the Play Store should work fine.
Just remember while doing this, Freedom should not be running in the background. My suggestion is to disable all the apps in the background.
