Nokia upcoming rummored Android smartphone after the Microsoft deal!

The rumors around Nokia's comeback appear to be true now as the Finnish handset maker's Android smartphone, dubbed C1, has been spotted on Chinese social community website Weibo yet again.
The GSM Arena and Android police and other well known website reported that the picture might be considered as a rendered image because several pictures, which were initially treated as original, had turned out to be a hoax.
Nokia C1 Android smartphone images and specs leak

According to the contract with Microsoft regarding non-compete clause, Nokia cannot re-enter the smartphone market until 2016. Nokia, which once led the global phone business, lost its reign after the popularity of Android and iOS.
Despite releasing several Windows-based smartphones under LUMIA brand, Nokia could not gain back the position and sold the unit to software giant Microsoft.
However, surprisingly Nokia re-appeared in the market with an Android running tablet called N1. The metal clad tablet received decent response in China, but is yet to be released elsewhere in the world for unknown reasons.
Coming back to the C1 leak, Nokia is all set to restart its phone production and is reportedly in talk with Chinese smartphone-tablet maker Foxconn, which manufactures devices for Apple, Xiaomi and InFocus.
The earlier reports had claimed that Nokia is targeting markets in India, China and Europe. As part of the strategy, Nokia will unleash its global marketing campaign and official product sites by the end of the year

Besides, the report also gives a glimpse of the specs. Going with the current trend, the device will sport a 5-inch display with 1080p resolution. This means the display shouldn’t disappoint with roughly over 400 pixel density.
It will run the latest flavour of Android – 6.0 Marshmallow. One can expect an Intel chipset with 2GB RAM. Going by the images, the device looks pretty decent, but it is unclear whether Nokia has opted for metal or plastic.
In the past there have been reports about Nokia’s plans to return to manufacturing phone, which the company has been refuting time and again. It should be noted that the company isn’t allowed to sell or manufacture smartphones until Q4 2016 by contract, but this doesn’t mean it can’t start working on a device.

Nokia released an Android tablet last November of 2015 in front of the world, called the Nokia N1. According to a Nokia Power User report, the tablet is being tested in India.
According to the Zauba import data on the website, the Nokia N1 Pad has come to Bangalore from the US and it is meant for internal testing purposes. But considering the Nokia N1 has been a success in China and is also available in Taiwan with Google services on board, it is not a stretch to image that the Foxconn-made tablet will eventually come to India. With it already under test, the likelihood of a launch increases.
Nokia N1 has a 7.9-inch IPS LCD display with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. Its a zero air gap display and also gets a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 layer. Nokia has gone for a unibody aluminium design that is available in Natural Aluminum or Lava Gray colours.
The Nokia N1 comes with a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor clocked at 2.3GHz and coupled with 2GB of RAM. It also includes PowerVR G6430 GPU. The N1 offers 32GB onboard storage, but there is no microSD card slot to expand it further. The connectivity options include dual channel 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi with MIMO, microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0.
The Nokia N1 beats the Apple iPad mini 3 here with an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera for selfies.
Nokia N1 is runs standard Android Lollipop. Nokia has added a layer of its own Z launcher to the tablet as well, where users can simply scribble a letter to find their content quickly. With usage over time, the Z Launcher learns what applications are in use, and predicts and highlights the applications consumers might want to open.
The MRP of Nokia N1 is at $249 which comes to approximately Rs 16,000
Nokia N1 Android tablet may release in India soon: Report

I’m tired of getting excited about Nokia Android phones, but I can’t help it

Nokia Android Phones Release Date

For years, Maximum people waited for Nokia to change its mind and start making the gorgeous Android handsets many fans wanted from the company. Instead Nokia steered clear of a path that may have brought it some success, and eventually succumbed to iOS and Android. Yet, Re/code has learned that Nokia is once again working on Android smartphones, something that was previously rumored as well, and
The company is looking to get back into the smartphone business as soon as next year, as its contractual obligations to Microsoft expire. That’s what people familiar with the matter have told the site, adding that Nokia is also toying with virtual reality and other “ambitious” projects.
As per its contract with Microsoft following the sale of its mobile business, Nokia can’t sell any smartphones under its brand through the end of the year, and can’t license its brand to other companies until at least the third quarter of 2016.
Nokia already has two interesting Android products, including the Z Launcher and the N1 Android tablet, which we saw at MWC in all its glory (image above), and which should be released in markets other than China this year.
On top of those, the company is already working on some new Android toys. According to former Nokia executive Richard Kerris, who has seen some of these new devices, people will be blown away if some of them hit the market, though he did not elaborate.
The one problem with the Nokia Android handset you’re craving might be related to manufacturing and availability. As Re/code notes, Nokia may simply license its Android phone and brand to a different company which will then distribute it.
Even so, it might be time to get excited about the possibility of Nokia making Android phones. Again.
